HINT: To turn off Highlighted text code.. After your highlighed words, put in another highlight code. Make this new Highlight code the same color as your background.

THE PROBLEM-all your colored text after the </html> command will turn black
THE SOLUTION: Re-enter all your color codes again after </html> command!!

ADD NEW&REMOVE CATAGORY 

ADD NEW CATAGORY- Hit Enter after your text on a givin line for example(Location). The line will go blank. then put in your new catagory for example FRIENDS:    JESSICA JIM BILLYBOB. 
REMOVE DEFAULT CATAGORY- (such as Location: )The catagory above the one your removing, should end with the code <font The removed catagory should start with the code >
For example: to remove location:, put <font at the very end of your name line. Put > at the very beginning of location line,and the word Location will dissapear!

 

FLASHING BACKGROUNDS 

Put in Mulitpal Background Codes and your profile will FLASH. Make sure you put in different colors. It only Flashes when you first view your profile for about a second. The mutipal codes can be on different lines of your profile. The more codes you put in, the more it flashes!  HINT: put background codes on your name line and quote line for best flash! I reccomend at least 6 codes.  You can find the background color code on   PAGE 1

 

TWO COLOR BACKGROUND

< body . aolmailheader>This will make part of your background turn white. Put the code where you want the white background to start.(AOL 6.0 / 7.0 users will not see this effect, 5.0 only!)

GREY LINE BOX 

< img . src=id=x width=516 height=6 datasize=1> This will make a grey line across your profile. Change the height and width for differnt affects! (Improved code! works with 6.0 / 7.0)

IM ME/LOCATE ME/MAIL ME

<b > </b > are extra codes that go after the 5 letter and at the end of your screen name to keep out unwanted spaces that AOL somtimes puts in! 

BOOT ME OFFLINE-NICE TRY BOZO TRICK 

< a . href="AOL://1391:NICE TRY, BOZO"><b >Boot me offline< /a>This code puts a link on your profile to "boot me offline"... but when clicked on an error message comes up.. saying "NICE TRY BOZO"... you can change it to say other funny things like "Get My Phone number".. then when clicked have it say..."1-800-YOU-WISH" .. be creative.. 

WEB PAGE MESSAGE TRICK  <NEW>

< a . href="aol://1223:<u >26260/about:NICE TRY BOZO">Boot Me offline< /a>This code puts a link on your profile too "Boot me offline"... but when clicked on a webpage comes up.. saying "NICE TRY BOZO" This is pretty much the same thing as the other "boot me offline trick", but unstead of An error msg comming up, you will see a white webpage with black writing. Be creative... you can also put in other types of msgs like "get my pic" then when clicked have it say "Send yours first"

LINKS ON YOUR PROFILE

You need those because AOL puts in blank spaces, and your link won't work without them. The rule is, about every 14 spaces or less you need a <u > code. Play around with your links, until they work. Its a little complicated to get it right.  Just keep trying and look at my example closely. <UPDATED!!!!>

This code will POP-UP info when your the mouse goes over a word. For example LOC when you put your mouse over LOC, the word TEXAS will pop-up!

HINTS: After this code, all your text may turn black. To fix this insert a font color code directly after the these codes. (Font color code is found on page 1)
You may want these to be a different color, default is blue... Put a Link color code in your profile BEFORE the codes. < body . link=#FFFFFE> This will turn GENDER-AGE-LOC white, in my example its RED!
