1990 EX

Honda Accord first came on the US market in 1976 In two short decades Honda dominated the market.  Honda is still going strong in the new decade, and gains momentum each year. I believe its for the three reasons, luxury, economy, and style. With the release of the V6 option, the car has even reached a wider market.

I am the original owner of the 1990 EX Accord pictured above.  I bought it in late 1989 as my first new car purchase. I got the optional 100,000 warranty that cost about $900. The car now has 176,000 and still going strong.

The privilege of driving such a reliable car has truly been a pleasure.  The engine is powerful, the interior is comfortable and the body stylish, even now that the car is 10 years old.  Other then its regular scheduled maintenance, I have put on new tires, brakes, and ignition coil.  As well as a new muffler, due to rust.

I  have been considering trading it in, when it gets to 200,000 which is a reasonable mileage to trade in a honda.  Guess what my next car is going to be?  You guessed it a 2001 Honda Accord.  I will be sure to post a picture of it when I finally break down and get rid of the car I truely have loved.
