1. Go to your FTP SPACE by using the link below.

KEYWORD: aol://5862:144/members.aol.com:/yourscreenname

2. SELECT UPLOAD BUTTON- the button will be on your ftp space

3. Make sure the BINARY (programs and grapics) is checked

4. For REMOTE FILENAME type in mypic.jpg (mypic.jpg should be in lowercase letters, Very important!)

5. Hit continue

6. Hit Select File

7. Select the picture your going to send by double clicking.. or single click and hit OPEN. You will have to find this picture on your C drive:

8. hit SEND. Your computer now should upload the picture.

now check and make sure you have the file mypic.jpg in your ftp space...

9. Link this picture in your profile.. by adding the line.

Check your profile and make sure it works!

Notes:

If you font turns black after this link, you need to add another font color code directly after the link.

If you go too slow. you may get disconnected from your FTP space, just start over if this happens.

If your Picture is a .bmp not a .jpg . Replace . jpg with .bmp in every step that you see it.

If Your link dosen't work because AOL is putting a blank space in your link thats on your profile, put a <u > in the middle of your screenname: example Screen<u >name

The picture you uploaded may have a different name like Jen.jpg Don't change the link for your profile to jenn.jpg. your orgional picture is now called mypic.jpg regardless of its original name..
